1) Project definition

  1. Promote the spirit of Silicon Valley Artisan and establish a learning template for global youth who innovate and develop.

As a global technological innovation center, Silicon Valley is also the new engine of the global economy, driving the innovation and development of human society. Silicon Valley Artisan are the cornerstone of Silicon Valley innovation, and the spirit of Silicon Valley Artisan is the essence of Silicon Valley innovation culture.

Although, to paint a “portrait” of silicon Valley’s Artisan spirit, it’s not only a very challenging job, and it is a glamorous thing. It needs the participation of all sectors of society and continuous exploration to make a breakthrough.  There is no doubt that the spirit of Silicon Valley Artisan comes from continuous innovation and practice, and the thoughts of Silicon Valley Artisan have important reference significance for the innovation and entrepreneurship of young friends around the world.

Each Silicon Valley Artisan has a different growth path, and each entrepreneurial youth has different talents and ability. Through the case analysis and skill learning of Silicon Valley Artisan, to practice the spirit of Silicon Valley Artisan and help entrepreneurial youths find their own path of ” Artisan” from their own conditions.

  1. Build a new format of “study tours, entrepreneurship, and employment”, and create an international education collaboration industry chain.

Combining international paid internships and short-term study tours, we will build a chain of study tours, entrepreneurship and employment projects based on the USJEdu PDA platform.  Through the Visiting Scholar (J1) project, to help university students from all over the world to complete international study tours with Silicon Valley “paid internships”, to learn about the innovation culture of Silicon Valley, to experience the intelligent technology development of Silicon Valley, to expand international horizons, to improve international communication capabilities, to stimulate innovation vitality, and to achieve the development of international “Innovation” and “Entrepreneurship” of university students.

  1. Promote “international academic exchange” has become an integral part of modern higher education.

“International academic exchange” has become an integral part of modern higher education, such as the international study tour of the Ivy League and the international exchange program of Peking University and Tsinghua University. The modern “international study tour” is different from the general international exchange program. The traditional international study tour program has a short period, high cost and has language requirements. Now the international study tour project adopts the “engineering” model, which has a long period, low language requirements, work-study program, low costs, and work and study together.

SVA -PIST is a paid internship and study tour (J visa) project, which includes both training and internship work. The project cycle is long that allow students to feel the learning and working environment in the United States more deeply, it does not require TOEFL scores, and help students to study abroad.

  1. Build a ” systematic depth international practice training” to create a new hot spot for international education cooperation.

Most of the current international study tours for university students are dominated by “TrainingStudy Tour”. At present, the international project content of international study tours (J1) is single, which causes a “fatigue experience”, lacks “systematic” and “depth” for university students of international study tours.

SVA makes up for the unity of “study tour” and combines “deep learning” with “deep practice” to provide abundant resources and helps for the employment and entrepreneurship of international university students, help students broaden their international horizons and experience the top technology culture of Silicon Valley.

  1. Committed to promote the construction of the International Artisan ‘s Union and establish an International Artisan’s Union base to promote the ” Artisanship” talent training model.

Based on the Silicon Valley Artisan Union and relied on the international regional industrial clusters, to establish a “Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile, Cloud, IOT, Blockchain” Artisan talent cluster. Each Artisan mentor establishes a cooperative enterprise, guides a professional student, and leads a team of students to complete a practical project and realize the talent training model of ” Artisanship”
